    The best running boards for both cab and roof access!

    My first pickup truck, a 2009 Toyota Tacoma with less than 30K miles, was given to me by my late father, and I recently drove it back to my home in California from South Dakota where my mother lives. One of the first things that I wanted to add to it was running boards. I searched many brands and styles, and I eventually landed on these OEDRO ones. After cleaning the frame where the brackets were to be installed, that portion of the installation process, meaning the six brackets, was incredibly easy. Then, with the help of a plastic stool, I was able to install the running boards to the brackets by myself. The whole process took about two hours, with most of the time spent cleaning the frame prior to actual installation and the final tightening all of the bolts. These are very practical, because they act as steps for entering the front and rear of the cab, and also provide a center step that is higher, which allows for easier access to the roof. I am so glad that I bought these particular running boards, and look forward to using them for many years.

    Thieve rails dress up our 23 Tacoma add easy access to get in truck, and installation couldn’t get easier. all holes line up and there is a little play for adjustment

    I'm very happy with this purchase. Running boards are solid and look and function great. Install was very easy. Just follow the instructions and torque recommendations. I secured bolts with blue thread Locker.
    They fit my 2nd generation Tacoma double cab perfect.

    The Amazon filter said this style Oedra running boards did NOT match our Gen 3 Tacoma but reviews said they did so we chanced it and ordered. They fit perfect and at a much better price than others for sale. Easy install and look great.

    The quality of the running boards are great! The finish is solid. The welds appear to be good. We will see as time goes by. The drop down design is what I needed for my co-pilot with bad knees. She had a difficult time climbing up from the ground level. This drop down gives her the height she need to be able to climb in. The flat running boards just did not lower the step enough. Also, the fact that they are wider was a big factor in choosing these as well. They provide a more confident sure footed feel when getting in. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a beefy running board who does not want to pay an arm and a leg for them.

    Sturdy and easy to assemble. They look great too. Also the rounded features are easier on your shins for when you inevitably walk into them on accident.

    Runners do provide the extra step I needed for my Taco, but for the price tag I was expecting more than just basic stamped steel. Structurally they seem solid enough, but materials wise it is pretty basic. Powder coat will hopefully hold up but time will tell. Functionally they are fine, just feels a bit overpriced for what it is to me.
