    I've been debating between rubber and textile floor mats for my car.While rubber mats are often more durable and easier to clean,I've heard that they can emit unpleasant odors.I'm curious to know if there are any rubber mats on the market that have been treated to minimize or eliminate odor.If so,I might be convinced to give them a try.

    At first,we were totally loving them.But then,the next day,my husband was complaining about a killer headache.He came home feeling like crap,and I gave him some painkillers.When I got in the car,I was like,'Whoa,what's that smell? It was a super strong chemical smell,kind of like shoe polish or something.The mats were stinking up the whole car,and we had to roll down the windows to get some fresh air.We figured out that the mats were the problem and had to take them out of the car so we could breathe again.
