Julet MotorQuality piece at an affordable priceReviewed in the United States on Jun 05, 2024A friend of mine moved to Pennsylvania where catalyst converters are required on even older diesel trucks. Looking for a quick solution, I purchased this and welded it in stream of his existing exhaust. The piece is quality, thicker steel (not thin junk) and is nice quality, as well as, small and looks nice with the bullet style design. It worked for what we needed, was affordable, and if I needed to, Id buy it again.Was this review helpful? -
Bradford W DesatnikGreat product at a great priceReviewed in the United States on Jun 04, 2024This thing is great! Very little resistance, bolts right into a 4 system . . . I used stainless strap clamps, there is enough material on the cat to get a bite with a strap clamp. Let me very easily update my exhaust to comply with Ohio eCheck requirements. The price is outstanding as lets face it . . . cats are not a very glorious thing . . . nor do they add HP. I am also sure you could knock the guts out after you pass your inspection if you really wanted ;-) . . . I would imagine that would be pretty simple.Was this review helpful?

Well this year my Virginia State Inspection failed for emissions due to me altering the original exhaust. Putting this I. The truck brought it back into compliance. It lost a little of the deep rumble but still has a great sound.Was this review helpful?

KhannonPassed Colorado EmissionsReviewed in the United States on Jun 02, 2024Had to weld this cat in on my 97 cummins to pass stupid Colorado emissions. Inside diameter is 4in. Didnt experience any power loss. Called Exhaust readers in the springs and told me that this wouldnt pass but Performance auto and diesel repair in Loveland said it would work. Performance said it does have to be welded in though. Hope this helps.Was this review helpful?
