I got lucky with the factory threads already in place. I’m not exactly spry, being an old guy with some disabilities, plus, a couple of drinks might have been involved, but I still managed to get it done solo. I’m 6 and a half feet tall and weigh about 300 pounds, and these things don’t flex at all under me, they feel really sturdy. They do stick out about an inch more than the rear tires (I’ve got the factory tires, not anything oversized), but the fit is just right.Was this review helpful?

Honestly, I'm pretty pleased with them. Installation was a breeze, took me under an hour, and that includes unpacking everything and dealing with organizing the bolts, plus a distracting phone call while I was working under the truck. CAn hour each side to R&R theseReviewed in the United States on Jun 05, 2024The instructions are pretty clear if you take a good look at them, so just lay everything out and separate the parts. That makes it way easier. After I installed the running boards on the brackets, they felt sturdy, and remember not to tighten anything until the boards are on. Once you’ve got that sorted, go through and tighten everything up. Good luck for the price, no issues here.Was this review helpful?

Pros: The price is pretty sweet, and it looks good. Shipping was quick too. Honestly, the install instructions weren't as bad as I thought they’d be, despite what some reviews say.
Cons: The material feels kinda flimsy when it’s not bolted down, so I’m guessing it might dent easily.
Tips: It says you don’t need power tools, but using an impact or drill really speeds things up.

My husband got them for my Ford F150 because I was worried about our two elderly moms getting in and out of the truck. I was pretty surprised at how easy they were to install, and they totally changed the look of the truck, making it way sleeker. I’m not the tallest person, so they definitely help me out too.
