      Not really sure how to evaluate a catalytic converter. The one I replaced was the original and was completely destroyed inside. With this new one the car runs well but I dont know if I detect any performance improvement due to the design of the unit. Having said that it works well and I recommend it. I had a local repair shop install it. They report it was a close fit, didnt have a problem though and appreciated all of the parts that came with the kit. I also had them replace both O2 sensors which Id recommend.

      Before my family road trip, I noticed my 1998 honda CR-V needed a new catalytic converter to ensure a trouble-free journey. The new part fit well, and installation was fairly easy. Once I hit the road, the car performed beautifully, and we didn’t encounter any problems. I’m giving it four stars because the shipping took a little longer than expected. Still, I highly recommend this upgrade for anyone planning a long trip.

      I took about 2 hours to install this direct fit cat on my 2000 Honda CR-V SE 2.0L, easy bolt-on installation and it came with bolts and hardware. After installation, the code P0420 was gone that perfectly solved my problem and so far this converter works great, hope this helps.
