My 2015 hyundai veloster passed the emissions test, but I suspected the catalytic converter was still affecting overall efficiency. After replacing it, I could feel the difference! After replacing it, the engine temperatures are back to normal. The part seems fine, but the installation was more complicated than I anticipated. After the mechanic replaced the clogged catalytic converter, the noise was completely gone.
