The deep ridges all over the mats trap all the dirt, mud, sand and junk that my kids track in from outdoors. I no longer have to vacuum my car carpets every other day. But these mats have saved me from a lifetime of vacuuming. Even after beach trips, I just lift them out and spray them down.? No sand ends up buried in the carpet fibers. No bunching up or sliding around. The deep ridges do a great job of corralling anything I track inside so it doesn't migrate under the seats.
