portermomEasy to Install - Looks GreatReviewed in the United States on Feb 25, 2024I read a few reviews on this to see if I could handle the install. After doing so, I felt pretty confident, so I took a shot. The packing was great and easy to remove.
I laid this on the bed, atop the box it arrived in, and went to work. 30 minutes later, I had it on, squared, and fastened down securely. I didn’t trust myself on the install, so I also drilled the safety straps to my bed liners with a sheet metal screw on each side.
The initial trip was a 30 miles jaunt on the freeway and not an inch. Secure, tight, and the fastener handles didn’t even need adjusting.
The cover is a great looking add to my truck, and my gas mileage seems to have improved in the last week. The automatic tailgate on my Ram even functions with this on, and it was a great buy for the money.
The one item I plan on updating is the longevity after a few months. Hopefully the color and look hold out for the long haul.
