After installation, the check engine light turned off, which was crucial because I live in city where cars need yearly emissions inspections that can fail if the light is on. The replacement kit included everything I needed, and it worked as expected. AnselNo need modificationReviewed in the United States on Jun 18, 2024The aftermarket catalytic converter I bought was slightly more expensive than some others, but it fit my car almost perfectly without needing any modifications. The quality of the fit depends on how much damage was done to my car when the catalytic converter was stolen. I had to widen the rear end of the pipe slightly to fit over the muffler pipe. It's important to also replace the downstream exhaust sensor, as it's often stolen along with the catalytic converter. I'm overall satisfied with the product. It was easy to install on a lift, and it hasn't caused any error codes so far.Was this review helpful?

After struggling with stubborn bolts initially, I found that heating them with a blow torch made removal easy.
