BetBetter than Weather Tech and CheaperReviewed in the United States on Jan 23, 2024I've had about five sets of Weather Tech mats in previous vehicles. The last one/s I got for my 2015 Chevy Colorado were absolute crap! The front ones were okay, but the back ones were thin, flimsy, lightweight rubber that wouldn't even hold their shape.
Two months ago I got a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, and shopped around. I took a shot on these, never having heard of them before, and could not be happier. They are solid. They fit perfectly. They don't move around at all, even the rear ones which are not attached but just sit there. And the font and rear were only $100.
I don't buy car mats often but this is what I will go to next time I do.
One thing of note is that they are kind of folded for shipping, and did not sit right at first (the rear). The edges did not sit flat on the floor and kind of flared up. I'm sure if I left them they would have settled down, but I didn't want to wait and see. I took a heat gun (you can probably use a hair dryer), I heated them up a little to soften them, and pushed the edges down. This took maybe 10 minutes and they have fit perfectly since then.Was this review helpful? -
